Tim Morgan, Programs Coordinator, USPTA (Elite Professional)
Tim provides us with a complete level of both programming and teaching experience. His program offerings, instruction, and organization bring a special value to the tennis program. It is Tim’s hope that that the Mentor Heisley tennis community rallies to support all club events and programs to attract a larger and stronger player base. Tim has worn many hats in Northeast Ohio. He was the Area Training Center Head Coach, an NTRP grievance committee member, directed NEO junior team tennis league, participated in the Victory Gallop fundraiser, and directed many junior tournaments. Tim is currently an area High School Coach and is constantly promoting the great sport of tennis.
Eddie Manuel, Head Tennis Professional, USPTA
Eddie has been a team member on the club staff since 2006. He brings over 2 decades of teaching and game experience to our membership. Eddie has a passion for junior development. His ability to communicate and demonstrate modern skill concepts to our juniors is remarkable. Eddie is the Head Girls Tennis Coach at Mentor High School. It is Eddie’s goal to bring the sport of tennis to as many juniors as he possibly can. Eddie is also a leader in the USTA 10 and under initiative which is to teach players with age appropriate court sizes, balls, and racquets.
Joe Morgan, Tennis Professional, USPTA
Joe has been an integral part of the Mentor Heisley Racquet and Fitness Club tennis program for over 20 years. Joe has been involved in all aspects of tennis in the Northeast tennis community. Joe’s vast experience as both Head Pro and Tennis Director is a testament to his love for the game. Joe enjoys teaching players of all ability levels. It is his passion to grow the game of tennis through lesson and league programs. In addition to his club duties, Joe is the former Head Men’s and Women’s coach at Lake Erie College. He is currently the Head boy's coach for Mayfield High School. Joe offers a strong presence in our instruction program and continues to prove that tennis is the sport of a lifetime.
